How to Use 1Password

1Password stores every password, card number, and secure note behind one master password, so you only ever have to remember the one. Once it's set up, it also fills logins automatically, meaning you stop reusing the same weak password everywhere just because it's easier to remember.

Step 1: Create your account

Sign up and set your account password. 1Password also generates a Secret Key, a long, randomly generated code that works alongside your password to encrypt your data. Step 4: Turn on two-factor authentication

1Password can store your two-factor authentication codes alongside the password itself, filling both automatically at login. Set this up for your most important accounts (email, banking, your 1Password account itself) first.
