mcp-typescribe is an open-source Model Context Protocol server that loads TypeDoc-generated JSON documentation for a TypeScript API and exposes it to LLMs through targeted query tools, so AI coding agents can search symbols, inspect signatures and types, and trace relationships without loading entire docs into context. It's built for developers integrating AI assistants like Claude, Cline, Cursor, or Windsurf with new, internal, or proprietary SDKs the model wasn't trained on. Its differentiator is serving API knowledge dynamically and on-demand rather than dumping full documentation into every prompt.
